New Layers and Pro Upgrade
Subliminal Engine is built around modular layers that can be combined or ignored depending on what you want to create. Nothing is forced, and there’s no single “correct” setup.
This update introduces three visual and audio layers, along with an optional Pro upgrade that removes session limits and unlocks additional functionality.
Focus Swirl Layer (Free)
The Focus Swirl layer is available to all users.
It creates a slow, central swirling motion designed to act as a visual anchor. The movement is continuous and subtle, helping maintain gentle focus without demanding attention.
This layer can be used on its own or combined with text and other layers. It works well for relaxed focus, meditation, or simply having something calm and stable on screen.
Image Flash Layer (Pro)
The Image Flash layer allows you to select up to 10 images that briefly flash on screen during a session.
This layer is intended for symbolic or associative imagery. Images can be personal, abstract, or goal-related. Flash timing is configurable, allowing the images to remain either barely noticeable or clearly visible, depending on your preference.
It can be layered alongside text, motion, and sound without dominating the experience.
Binaural Beats Layer (Pro)
The Binaural Beats layer adds subtle frequency-based audio beneath your session.
It’s designed to stay in the background rather than become the focus. The layer can support relaxed or focused states and works best with headphones.
Like other layers, it can be enabled or disabled at any time and stacked with visual elements without disrupting the flow.
Pro Upgrade
The optional Pro upgrade is available for users who want fewer restrictions and more control.
Pro includes:
- Unlimited session time
- Access to the Image Flash layer
- Access to the Binaural Beats layer
- Ability to import and export sessions
The free version remains fully usable. Pro simply removes limits and unlocks deeper layering options for those who want them.
